Ralf Hannes is a contemporary visual artist who works mainly in the media of painting and drawing.
From 2012 to 2019 he studied as a master student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Professor Karin Kneffel. Since then he works and lives in Munich.


He was born in 1987 near Ulm, Germany. He spent his childhood and adolescence in Laupheim, Germany. At a young age he designed pieces of furniture and architectural building plans on paper. Musically, he was engaged in his own piano compositions, encouraged by his parents and several years of piano lessons. Besides drawing, he also developed and designed websites, for which he received several awards.
After his training as a graphic designer in Ulm, Ralf Hannes initially worked as a freelance graphic designer and created digital illustrations for various photo agencies. Shortly thereafter, he moved to the Academy of Art in Munich, where he began studying art.
